Air conditioner installation for Fairport, NY homes
Fairport summers get sticky. If the upstairs never cools, or the outdoor unit sounds like it’s dying, you’re not imagining it.
We’re Green Guys Heating, and we cover Fairport from our shop at 340 Haley Rd in Ontario. We install and replace central AC. Before anyone talks about equipment, we look at the house: which rooms stay hot, what the ducts and returns are doing, where the outdoor unit sits, and the electrical.
Repair or replace
A lot of “we need a new AC” calls turn out to be airflow, a dirty coil, a failing capacitor, or a system that’s been oversized and short-cycling for years. If a repair is the fair move, we’ll say so. If the compressor’s gone, the coil’s shot, or you’re stacking service calls on an old matched system, we’ll tell you it’s time to replace.
We won’t sell you a bigger box because it sounds impressive. A right-sized system with decent airflow keeps the house more comfortable than an oversized one. If an addition never got proper returns, new hardware alone won’t fix the hot room, and we’ll tell you that up front.
Furnaces and air conditioning are what we lead with. Heat pumps come into the conversation only when they fit the house.
